Who We Are
FiwiVoice.com is a vehicle for social commentary and action for youth who are prepared to show their support and desire for ‘national change’, beyond private discussions and debates. We are also aimed at examining all problems, prospects and policies and their implications on youth.
The creators of FiwiVoice.com are all Caribbean, and this development has been forged from our collective talents, creative ideas and our passionate concern for the development of all Caribbean people and nations.
What We Want
Our aim is to constructively and creatively reshape the thinking of Caribbean youth to prize the full worth of our people and nations and so be active, industrious agents of development and change. If the youth within a nation and particularly those who are educated, are silent in the midst of strong corruption, crippling lawlessness and unrelenting fiscal decay, how brilliant is that nation’s future? Our aim in all our programmes, commentaries and interviews is to encourage constructive analysis of issues, and to encourage youth to consider their reality, to think on it, and in some creative way, to act.
How to Join
We want you to not only read, view and say “Good idea.” If you share our passion and our vision to be active channels of change, then we want to know you better.
There are many opportunities
Write a commentary on any issue you thing critical, and relevant to Caribbean youth, no more than 350 words and post on our Voice It! page. (or email it to us)
You may also Write Poetry (on Topical and Social Issues (Social Commentary) Youth, Caribbean Culture, or Faith)
