Party Like a ………………Porn Star?
I’m a bit…no retract that…I’m a whole heap confused as it relates to this Sex-tape madness. Why is this happening so often? It’s like every month or so, another one is released. And as soon as it drops it circulates on the Internet via emails, and on cell phones. Why this madness…why?
I constantly hear my mother say that, the society is the way it is due to the openness of information that our children and teens are now privy to. She complains that most adults her age never saw a pornographic movie until they were adults; and that the option for viewership was their own, it was not thrown into their face. Now with this even more widespread access, how can a man keep his way pure? It’s everywhere! I know of many Christians who are guilty as well- for sharing this material with individuals rather than shutting down something like this, which in no way is glorifying God.
My question is why? Why do people constantly make tapes like this? Is it the fact that you are now a star and producer of your own movie? Is it by force, or is it peer pressure that one does not consciously recognize? What is it? Really what is it? Is that everyone who is anyone is a porn star? Hmmm… what is this world coming to… even now come Lord Jesus!
One must give thanks though that God never leaves nor forsakes His own. His everlasting and great wisdom saw it fit to give us His Word that supersedes time. Many individuals consider the Bible outdated, but it is applicable to everything even to this case.
So children of God flee the very appearance of evil…. DO NOT view the tape in horror or worse, make a tape and hide it…FLEE. For those who are constantly faced with this widespread phenomena and lust and every other sexual sin that seems to be over taking you, keep your way pure as Psalm 119 states: ‘By living according to the Word of God’.
