The book of Eli-where is it found?

Well that’s the book after 1st and 2nd Samuel, right before 1st and 2nd Kings. Its smack in the middle of the 39 books of the Old Testament. But what does it really say? Well Denzil will tell us about that I assume, in his latest movie the book of Eli.
Denzil, a high profile Hollywood Christian is the one designated to protect the last remaining copy of the Bible left here on earth and as such he takes on a very violent path while doing that, wielding his machete, to protect it from the evil villans who want to use it as a “weapon of control”.
On January 15th we can really see what this movie is about, but I do have some questions about this even being referenced as a movie relating to the faith, as it embodies a high level of violence and obscene language to be rated as ‘R’, and R is Restricted. You can view the trailer and other details here. http://thebookofeli.warnerbros.com/
In the article below, Christianity Today makes reference to Denzil Washington and his lifestyle in hollywood as a christian and how he has kept the faith despite being in an ungodly environment. You can read the entire article about Washington and his Christian upbringing, his being filled with the Holy Spirit and now wanting to do the will of God. As it says “Denzel Washington is more than just an Oscar-winning superstar. He’s a Christian who’s serious about his roles … even when they get a bit bloody, like in the Book of Eli.”

know that i know what the movie is about, it sound a bit questionable and contorted to fit a view and make some money instead of actually using the opportunity wisely.. what can i say, Hooray Hollywood, you’ve done it again: successful present a twisted plot about Christians, and with big stars too!!! this should be interesting to watch!!

now that it has been long released what are the Views? honestly i went to the movie blindly thinking it was reali sum long lost book of the bible that didnt make it in the KJV only to realise that it was all about the ‘bible’ and only titled as such cuz of the fact that he had the last copy of the bible. Ahh boi…at the end of what i thought was quite unnecessary violence was a valuable take home message- indeed the word should b written on our hearts cuz that’s the only place it makes sense not in a book to walk around with…overall the usual themes of power, struggle, slavery and “lack of knowledge’ paradigm fr the bible was clearly illustrated…
