A Place to Call Home

One response
Precious memories that are a thought away,
Cloud my mind and determined to stay.
Where I have been and where I am heading is the question, oh, my heart, it’s pounding.
God will never leave my side; He will be my constant guide.
As the tide seeks desperately to reach the shore, so does my heart seek to reach Jesus, Heavenly Father, more and more. Though the waves may gush frantically to and fro, I will rest in King Jesus, He will teach me how to row, and He will conquer all foes.
Come; join the ride now, we will share in his death, the sacrifice he made for all wrongdoing was the consequences that followed, because of a man who wanted to do His Father’s Will, and have no regrets.
Sent by God, he knew where he came from and where he will be heading out.
He clearly, didn’t deserve what he got, yet with thankfulness he pulled us out.
Pulled us from the clutches of death. Our fallen nature condemned of sin. A death surely deserved, so grim.
His life isn’t over; astounding love goes further, to prepare a place, free of pain, sorrow, and death. What a love to neglect, for as we share in his death, we will experience His life, condemned no more.
A people with precious cargo, not carrying a burden, but a glorious light,
The power and glory of God within, taking up our cross daily, we must bear, we must trust Him. Like free flowing streams of living water, spirit-led followers.
The One who holds all things together; He has the power of death and life in His hand.
The Word, his word, He is, is life, from it, in Him we will pass from death to life.
The Word of the Sovereign Lord will stand forever.
For whosoever believe in Him will not die, but will have life eternal.
Now could be forever, new life, heading to an eternity spent with him, the Christ.
