prodigal son seems to be strayinng form god. firstly a good friend of mind saw him wandering through a bar, wat’s up with that?. secondly the news of him and wife with their conflict, this is no way for an icon to the christian young people tobe behaving. at the youth view awards prodigal son receive the award for best reggae Gospel artist, a sign to show you that the young people look up to him. prodigal son needs to pull up his socks and portray what he was called by god to do, minister the word and live holy and acceptable in his sight

Allison
We shopuld not judge because u see somebody in a bar that does not mean that he is not living a life for God . I have found myself in a bar mote than once -Jesus use to sit and talk with the prostitutes and people that have questionable moral standing .That does not mean that jesus was a sinnner he means that probably he had some good reason to be there . Please do not judge somebody -he is a good minister and he will continue blessing sould like mine

Miss Allison, is how you one so HOLY? You going on like your spit can use baptise people. Give the guy a break! To be honest, Prodigal may need to pull up his socks, but what you need to be doing is falling on your knees, in prayer for him. Is people like you mek people like him leave the church. Sort out yu language! You are suppose to be SALT, preserve him no?

“icon to the christian young people”.. now I’m not trying to knock you, but firstly be careful to not put ppl on pedestals irrespective of who they are! Yes Christians need to be accountable, but instead of tearing down and rebuking them, pray for them (I say ‘them’ because no one in this world is perfect, and if you sin you sin and need to get right with God NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO!)
One shouldn’t judge a man’s interior by his exterior, in the sense that someone can appear to have things together and seem to be walking righteously, and yet they are struggling in ways you may not even know about..but most importantly, bear these brothers/sisters up in prayer!!
Interesting case study: look at David who sinned against God,, first with Bathsheba and then committed murder against her husband.. he wallowed in sin, but later repented and made right with God (yes God did punish Him) —-but still, wasn’t David referred to as a man after God’s heart?

Rohan and Craig what do you have to say about his song with D’Angel and going to her parties not once or twice or even at asylum launch party(pics of which are on 1876.com and yardflex)??????? was he wandering????

Jesus ministered to sinners and they were transformed immediately, he did not make them buddies every sinner he spoke to changed their ways that was his mandate. Mr. McNaly I am surprised that your response seem like an attack, Allison, Rohan and everyone have a point so no need for attack there is nothing wrong in calling out someone on their action not saying anyone is perfect but the bible did say Rohan that we christians should judge each other it said however we should not judge the world the angel and Jesus will do that so no harm done with Allison’s question, no doubt she is young and would like answers. Dont be unfair if you saw or heard that your Bishop is doing something outside of the scriptures wouldn’t you at first question it, and then probably pray?? so who looks like the righteous one now? And Allison my dear don’t be decieved most of the awards these people win are not credible, artistes, managers and record companies pay money to get awards, and pay people to vote for them they go as far as buying thousands of dollars of credit and issue to people to vote for them so it doesn’t necessarily mean that young people look up to any particular artiste if that was the case Dj Nicholas would have won several of the awards as well among other artistes of course. Prayer will always help but unless a man is repentant and his heart is turned to God the heavens hands are bound.

My response soudns like an attack? Good, I am attacking self-righteousness, and challenging US to hold-up each other. Accountability is important, but since I’m not Prodigal’s accountability partner, nor am i in his close circle, I’d rather reserve personal opinions based on observations - which leads me to the songs he has done with D’Angel…I don’t think I have to feel compelled (a so it spell?) to say anything about it? That’s between him and God…i rather not get involved.
Jovan, you done know Rai!!! Drop it pon dem without warning!!!

Between Craig and Jovan I wonder if I am visiting a christian website. “Drop it pon dem without warning” are you kidding me????????????????????? Obviously no one understands what accountability or self righteousness is. This is a democratic society and if someone wants to ask if Prodigal is straying because they saw him in a bar, at a party, at a dance or even at a strip club it is just that, a question. One could answer and say “No I dont believe that is straying while another could say “well it depends” it doesn’t need any self righteous bashing, if asking Ministers to be accountable will make them want to leave the church they weren’t at church for God in the first place because that is trivial. It would be equivalent to asking ” is a christian man gay because he likes to watch Shebada’s plays and repeat his lines?” a simple yes, no or maybe could do, we get nowhere as christians because as soon as someone decides to question precedence they are shot down sometimes we idolize these artistes to their own detriment. If someone is living a life fully devoted to christ and I am not it doesn’t make the self or over righteous or me unholy we both are at different places/stages in our christian walk, maybe tommorrow I’ll come up while someone else falls, christianity is a daily renewal of the mind there is no need for all this crap, cutting down someone because they asked a question.

We are now in 2010, and the poo has hit the fan regarding Prodigal.
What lesson is there in this for all of us, whether we are his fans or not?
