Disheartening times…but hold fast to Jesus
The price of gas went up, it came down, the US dollar was falling, now its sky rocketing, and more recently interest rates have increased. The globe seems to be suffering alot of financial woes also, and now with our already uncontrollable crime, we now have financial worries of our own. Job market crisis threatens and our Sugar Factories are not selling as easily as we thought they would, what else could go wrong-though hard to believe- WAY TOO MANY THINGS, but in all things we as the body of Christ need to hold fast to His word that kept us when things were going afloat.
In Psalm 121, the writer looks to the hills and wonders…‘Where does my help come from?‘. Many of us may be there even right now pondering over and over so many things. The answer then… numerous centuries ago still remains..MY HELP COMETH FROM THE LORD!!!.God has made everything, and in His omniscience, sees everything, so this is not even a mild shock to Him. While things were great we could have rolled of this Pslam of our tongues, but its time that we have deep water faith, in deep water.
Do not be disheartened oh brother and sister of the faith. Trust God, still……. He is above this and is still Jehovah Jireh.
Here’s a cool note that i learnt recently. The word PROVIDE is from 2 Latin words: PRO & VIDEO (hmm not sure i rember this right, but anyway) PRO means before and VIDEO means to see, so God is Provider is declaring He sees from before…. isnt that Scriptural too :)…..so worry not JESUS IS STILL LORD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Thanks for the encouraging words Georgia. May this be the
foundation of hope for God’s pikinnis. The stage is being set
worldwide for the Man of Sin to be revealed……and welcomed
and worshipped by a deceived dying and desperate world. No wonder Jesus Christ told us to pray that we may be found worthy to escape these things. Hold on to Jesus people !

Since this has been written several more have lost their jobs…the health sector is buckling under the weight of free health care/insufficient funds and the blood bank is launching a massive drive this month as it has…No Blood!!! Supermarkets and mega-stores are half stocked or are closing down…tourists are slow in coming…the land is being parched by drought…and there are a million other woes but yet there is this this HOPE that cannot be shaken, that He is not a God that He should lie and that bcuz He is Jehovah Jireh that He will provide for His children!
