Andrew E. Cartwright, known by many as ‘Mr.Lynx’, began his musical journey at the tender age of six singing at local church services and conferences. It was not until his years in high school that he began taking his talents seriously, developing his skills at local school plays and talent shows. As his musical abilities matured, so did his popularity in the community, gaining the respect of many as a gifted singer and songwriter. Mr.Lynx eventually joined the True Lucayans, a local group whose talent would land him on stage opening for the likes of Busta Ryhmes.

Though it seemed he was on his way, it was not until Mr.Lynx surrendered his life and talents to the Lord Jesus Christ, that his musical career took flight. He would soon join the newly formed C-side (Christ Side) group and further develop his skills in contemporary Gospel, R&B, Hip Hop and his love, Reggae and dancehall Music. He was later signed to Lion Of Judah sounds and for 9 years worked alongside his colleague and cousin Monty G (CEO of L.O.J.) and hit–making producer DJ Frost. This chart-topping team produced the critically acclaimed album Prophetic fire in 2005, an album that is still a number one seller internationally. Today, Mr.Lynx is charting a new course as a husband, father and CEO of his own record label: Zion I Records and Recording studio.

He has since performed alongside acts such as Papa San, Stichie, Pettide, Platinum Souls, Cross Movement and also Flame just to name a few. Mr.lynx has traveled and performed in such regions as Trinadad and Tobago, Antigua, Dominica, Turks and Caicos Island, Miami Florida, Fort Luaderdale, New Smyrna Beach Daytona and Texas. He declares that the name Zion I is indicative of both the place and presence of God and the fact that He is with us always. Mr.Lynx seeks to promote positive messages of love and harmony, while not forgetting to speak out against wickedness in the land. Though his Music and message is Christ-centered it is able to reach beyond religious borders and into the hearts of the common man, piercing through the clutter and depositing words of encouragement and enlightenment.
