Three Americans, one Jamaican, a world record holder and olympic champions, a defending olypic champion, 10: 20 am!! I’m sure everyone eyes will be glued to there television set at that time tommorow morning as Jamaican Usain Bolt will be interrupted by opposite charges in the air and Strike again. The next biggest thing in the Beijing Olympics, the 200 metre final, will be contested by some of the worlds greatest tommorow. It might be a scare one, it might be frigtening but one thing for sure, it will definately be exciting and the one to watch. There is in the final Shawn Crawford, defendening 200m from Athens, Wallace Spearmon, 100m bronze medallist Walter Dix, and the rest of the pack with all respect.
Shawn Crawford clearly has mixed feeling about the race. I think it is because he is an American and he cannot see himself and his team go down like the ‘TITANIC’ when it hit the rock. in one statement he said
Written by michael wildes“Anybody, including Usain Bolt can be beaten on any given day.“
yet still he admits that
“If I had to bet on anybody right now to have a shot of breaking 19.32, I would gamble on him and say he is most likely to be the one to break it,” Crawford said.
“I mean look at it on paper, I am not stupid, he is a competitor.”I watched his 100m run and it was awesome. It was beautiful to watch.”It’s not finish, read this- “I feel like Usain Bolt will be the one to come and change the whole sprinting game,” he said.
“He is going to inspire a lot of taller guys to run the shorter sprints. He is the pioneer of it to me. I feel like he is revolutionising the whole sprinting game.”
“I don’t want to get beat,” he said. “It’s like an animal instinct, like the pit bull in me. I’m sorry, but when I go out there, I just feel like I cannot walk off the track a loser.”
( we will see!!)
he is confident and he is looking to pose a threat but the figures and the races say other wise.
For the Sprint King of the world instead, the media is saying otherwise. As a matter of fact check this out-
Before the start of Bolt’s 200 semifinal, the stadium announcer read off the names of the entrants, pausing to mention the resume highlights of some. When it was Bolt’s turn, this is what came over the speakers: “In Lane 6, a man who needs no introduction.”
His compatriots- Shawn Crawford- says different from him also, favoring Bolt as the one to take one of track and field’s coveted medal.

Usain Bolt on the other hand says, in the 200 final, Bolt promised to “run my heart out” — something he has yet to do for a full race at these Olympics. “I wouldn’t put anything past him right now,” Wallace Spearmon said.
So, if you catch this before the race, WHO WILL IT? BE!! ( BE FAIR)
CAN WE EXPECT A WORLD RECORD?
Usain Bolt turns 21 the day after, wouldn’t it be a perfect Birthday gift, especially since Digicel ‘begged’- yeah right- his father to go to Beijing to surprise him- bolt junior!!
following that we have Melaine Walker who actually looks like the second Deon Hemmings in the 400m hurdles!!! She is in world record form and she thinks she might go after it. JAMAICA IS ON TOP OF THINGS!!!
Melaine Walker eases to victory in the 400metres hurdles at Beijing ahead of American Tiffany Ross-Williams.
As the commentator said, JAMAICAN HAS CREATED A STUNNING UPSET!”
what will happen tommorow? We don’t know. tune in tommorrow to see another lightening flash not from tropical storm Fay but in the BIRD’S NEST and the world not to mention USA left in awh and confusion why Jamaica is so great!!
We at Fiwivoice know the reason why though!!
