IT’S ON, IT’S ON!!! THE RACE!!

By michael wildes | 20 responses

we’ll if your reading this and you are not really sure what I’m talking about, like some persons, who i think and they too, would want to remain unanimous, it is not about the ‘PNP bangarang’ or the ‘hancy packy’ in their ‘coop’(no laughing!!!).

With delicacy and daintiness, NOT AT ALL!! I’m talking about the real Olympics, the first part was just what i would consider as the reality show for multi-talented swimmer Michael  Phelps.

Olympics medalist and world world record holder in multiple event, Michael Phelps

no special opening ceremony but if you tune in tonight at approximately 8:40 you will begin to see the real deal. this is one of the only sporting competitions that will go down in history and personally i want you to be apart of it. so quickly, lets get this discussions going, ♣

who will have the rocket in their back pocket,
who will cross the tape on the 16th with their flag as a drape,
who will win the GOLD MEDAL that will be a story for everyone to be a herald,
WHO WILL IT BE???????????????????

POWELL, BOLT OR, THE OTHER DUDE,(just kidding, GAY)?

Let me know what you think.

IT IS OVER!!!!!

Jamaica’s Asafa Powell and Michael Frater looks at the scoreboard after the 100m final in Beijing. The race was won by fellow Jamaican compatriot Usain Bolt in a world record time of 9.69 secs.

next thing the women 100m finals!!! the Jamaican girls are blazing up the track, will they complete this piece of the puzzle of why Jamaican have built- in talent or…..? We at fiwivoice not even a think bout bowing out, right?

as Paul says “24Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.”

1 Corinthians 9:24

That is what Bolt did and he is a true example of a champion!!! congratulation!!!

As for Asafa, Just gwan do your thing!! you can overcome, somehow!!!

Change the focus now!!

who will it be in this one?

well well Micheal..i submit…that bolt will take the gold, if asafa’s ego doesnt give him a turbo boost near the end and maybe thompson from trinidad will take the bronze. Gay might not do very well…altho he has recovered from his injury..it probly set him back in his training and preparations…idk…Frater will make it to the finals but i dont expect much more from either him or Gay…so wat about the girls??? GO FRASER GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  15. Michael Wildes Says:

It’s overrrr!! can you believe it!!! I’m speechless but big up to USAIN BOLT, THE REAL CHAMPION!!!!

  16. 9
  17. 7metamorphosis Says:

It was neither Powell nor “the other dude” who took the 2 remaining medals, seeing that most person had already seal of gold round Bolt’s neck before the finals. Gay never even make it to the finals. But hey still cheer fi Asafa. Him never get a medal but he did hold world record for a while. Big up Asafa!!

  29. Sydelle Says:

Congratulations Bolt, Thompson,Bovell,Osafa, and all the Caribbean People, represent in Beijing, Blaze the place. This is one Trini here that’s proud, make your marks guys.

This Sunday I asked some children why the athletes were going to the Olympics, these were there answers:-

So that there families will encourage and support them

    For exercise

    To represent their country

Because of their skills and talent they got from God

And strangely enough they left this point for last - “To get gold medals and win”

  31. Michael Wildes Says:

Well, the girl do their part so far. it was the first clean sweep since 1912 and we didn’t even get bronze. SHERICKA WILLIAMS, the real star- not the bright and morning one, but a real Jamaican and she now how to strive!! shouldm’t us a Christian learn from this? As a matter of fact Jesus said make EVERY EFFORT, OR IN OTHER WORD, STRIVE TO ENTER THROUGH THE NARROW DOOR!! many tried but they weren’t strong enough, they though they had it so they became complacent and the gold and the silver was taken violently, with fight, and force( like the Kingdom of heaven). so continue to make your comments as we bring you coverage from the Beijing games!!

tommorow a the big race, USAIN BOLT, SHAWN CRAWFORD, WALLACE SPEARMON- sorry about the other dude and his injury. it would be and will be a show down.

  32. 17
  33. Sydelle Says:

YEAHHHHHHHHHHH, Bolt is on 19.30 seconds in the Men’s 200m . Hello. Usain is blazing up the tracks. “He set a new world record of 19.30 seconds in the Men’s 200m final to take the gold medal in this event on August 20 at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Bolt has become the second man in history to sweep the 100m / 200m sprint double at the same Olympic Games (http://en.beijing2008.cn/).

And yes Michael, we must make every effort to strive to enter through the narrow gate. STRIVE STRIVE!!!!!!!!

  34. 18
  35. Danique Says:

I am amazed…utterly speechless!!! Congratulations to all our athletes on their stellar performance.

  36. 19
