My unanswered

There comes a time in everyone’s life when they have countless unanswered questions. One of the most common is that of what the future holds. I wonder too but in know that despite what happens its for my good in Christ Jesus.
If i don’t get the life i want, fulfill the dreams I have and so on, its simply because what the Lord gives is much better and my aspirations were not completely inline with his plans for me.
I will accept it Lord. You take me through it to learn and to be molded into a greater creation. I just wish i would feel like i am learning and could actually put it into practise (who knows? the test may still be ahead).

I feel the same way too.Two years ago, I never thought I’d be where I am today, most of this unexpected arrival is disappointed though I am thrilled in certain areas. I guess at times I wonder how’s it that God and I’s though process is so far off; that my Views and His don’t match. But His words already state that His are above mine….. so I gotta trust that my little ways and paths for my own life are incomparable to what He has for me!

“What about today”
“…But let patience have its perfect work..” [James1:2-4] ; “Whatever things are true…meditate on these things.” [Philipians 4:8] ; Psalm 139:4,16, 2 Cor. 12:9-10, Romans 8:28, Matthew 28:20.
As I myself internalize and seek to live out this truth/ actually let go of these unanswered questions, see:-
James 1:2-4 “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete lacking nothing.”
I have been reading a book recently by Elizabeth George, and it challenges the “What if?” question. According to God’s Word we are to meditate on what is true or real. Things we wonder about in the future, have not actually happened, and we don’t know what the future holds…so these things we question have not actually happened, the future exists only in the imagination. But the future is in God’s capable hands, and He expects us to handle each day one at a time, trusting that he will enable us to go through today.
So whatever maybe a persons what if question, the fact is God has promised that his plans are not to harm us, and he will be with us always. It does not mean we must not ‘plan for the future and set goals’, but it means that a lot of wasted energy can be saved, just by ‘acknowledging God’s presence in our lives now and training our thoughts to think about and deal with things that are true..right now. ‘
