Hey guys, Fiwivoice is starting its op-ed (opinions and editorials) column or what we would call our guest editorial column. This is where you our valued visitors who have been longing to contribute (some of who have been calling us day and night wanting to Write etc) can air issues that really affect you, or issues which you deem important and deserving of written publicity.

Our op-ed column will be a premium area where important issues can be aired by select writers and it can be used to;

1. influence public opinion about a major political issue, societal issue or crisis
2. air your Views about a current event
3. respond to Views on FV and on other media
4. Congratulate, encourage, highlight anything of importance either on this site or elsewhere

Only serious contributions will be considered as this will be an area where we will be able to influence a wide cross-section of people on whatever is posted.

Please note:

1. The FV op-ed column will provide wide publicity on whatever is published, hence they will be monitored
2. We will revise, correct, edit, decline, highlight, publish all submissions within ethical, political, religious and other guidelines. We reserve the right to decline submissions
3. When writing please state your details that you would like to be published being the author of the submission (eg. name, church, school, age etc). If you are representing a group please state it, and ensure you have to permission of that group
4. Please try to remain as equitable and conscientious in your Views
5. If you are writing in reference to an article, please state it, and the link if possible
6. STICK TO THE POINT and be clear! Make it short. (max 1500 words)

Reflect on what is being submitted. Please refrain from ambiguous, negative and inflammatory submissions.
