A Cause for Christian Youths Today: Abortion

I would like to, commend a cause to you which I pray that you will prayerfully consider devoting much of your energy to in the coming years. It is the fight for Life and against the evil of abortion in Jamaica today.
Abortion is raring its ugly head in Jamaica, and the issue, though now it has been slowed down, is steadily plowing forward. You need to know that evil will always be plowing forward, for the devil never rests; the devil never takes days off, but continues to push his agenda all the time.
That truth is precisely why I must now Write about this abortion issue. The fight for truth and life demands the commitment of Godly people in every generation for it to succeed.
Abortion is sensitive
I want to put a early disclaimer. I know many who will read this may have already done abortions. I know the tone at times may seem hard, but we are not at all speaking against you personally, but the spirit and system of something God hold as sin. In fact, we want you to know above all things that there is peace for your mind and and forgiveness of guilt in Jesus Christ.
Abortion in Jamaica
Of course the information on abortion in Jamaica is not as extensive as that in the United States and places where much formal study has been done, but we do know that an approximate 22,000 abortions are done in Jamaica every year (and that is probably a very modest estimate).
When you consider the murder total in Jamaica each year it is alarming enough, but what a staggering thing now it is to add over 22,000 more lives to it.
God will not bless such a nation.
No wonder we can’t afford bread anymore. The guilt still not yet calculated is startling to consider.
We are our own judges against ourselves, revealing how great our guilt is by our duplicitous behavior. Examine this: we are horrified when 4 month old babies like Rana-Jay Hurd formerly of Rockfort, are shot and murdered- outrage! But we cannot see that she was hardly any different from Mark, Stacy, or any of the other 22,000 healthy babies that we silent slaughter every year.
Abortion and the Christian Youth
It is not a question of preference or calling or whatever word you may want to use to dismiss the significance of this issue to you life personally. God is demands of his people to be people who are diametrically opposed to evil, People who are kind, gentle, meek, loving, rational, speaking the truth in love and abhorring evil with all their being.
God has allowed this issue of abortion to be raised in Jamaica today to give an opportunity to His people to bring glory to His name.

The abortion issue is about to be voted on by our leaders without putting the issue out for public opinion. We need to urgently address the issue if we plan to derail the plans of the devil to slaughter the Jeremiahs and Johns of our generations

Wow I had no idea.This problem has to be attacked from many angles. increasing abstinence, increase parental authority, whole heap a stuff.boy we NEED to pray.abortion also causes psychological ills t the girls/women who do it. so we need to pray for them too.

We need to pray…….and put our money where our mouth is. Believe it or not, there are many Jamaicans
who are not Christians but they do not agree nor support abortion. This is another time that the churches need to come together and run an intensive and ongoing ad campaign on tv and radio, telling the people what the govt. is up to on the abortion issue. I saw a full-page ad in the Gleaner, but that’s not enough.
Have you ever researched the issue on some pro-life webites and see the pictures of mangled, mutilated
aborted foetuses? This is what people need to see, what happens to a tiny human being all in the name of
convenience, so-called scientific research, and yes the beauty industry………some of the products we put on
our faces actually contains aborted tissue. (ever notice how nice & smooth a baby’s skin is?) Abortion is
actually an Industry in the USA……….it generates money for the operators of the clinics, and the persons who sell the body parts to buyers…….. check it out for yourself peoples, and thank God that your momma didn’t have one when she was pregnant with you.

Jonah was sent to the ancient Ninevites to tell them to repent, the Ninevites used to sacrifice thier first born baby by bringing it to the iron statue of thier fish god and placing the baby on its heated white hot hands. They also used to bury the baby’s in the walls of thier houses so their god would bless thier home. The sacrifice of babies has allways been there, now it like many other sins, is masked and called abortion. If abortion is ilegal in Jamaica you MUST fight to keep it that way.

I am presently watching All Angles.How is it a woman’s right to take life?Since when God allows it. People just don’t know how many women try and try to get pregnant.Women spend so much money on doctor bills, and husbands give so many wives excuses for being unfaithful just because they cannot get pregnant.Don’t they get it, pregnancy is a gift from God, a GIFT!!!!Not a curse, why can’t we grasp that concept?It hurts….what is Jamaica coming too, but as people of God, lets add faith and works to fight this battle!!

The devil is truly a liar.. he has used very influential and trusted persons to feed us his lies. Like the fetus is only a ball of cell.. and is not yet a person. Its time to put the truth out there. When the babies are aborted they have hands, feet, a heart beat, brain waves, are able to feel pain, and all the organ systems are accounted for. It is time to speak up and let the truth be heard. Abortion is murder!
