of self, under which lies uncertainty, low-
self esteem, contradictions, lies and deceit

I will not feel 100% safe in the hearts or
hands of mankind because the truth is simply
that humans are just that…human; forever
grappling and puzzling about this existence
and their place in it.

At times I will forget; at times that third meager
child eludes my grasp, robbing me of my sense
of completion and perfect purpose in God’s will,
but like a thief in the night it will return, so long
as I remain transfixed on the one thing that matters
in this life…My God.
