PG: Sexual Infants?

3 responses

Just yesterday, I read about the gruesome discovery of a child performing oral sex on another child at school. The matter is not one for the comic strip but for a concerned band who stands up for positive values and ethics. The child in response to the teacher’s reaction about the deed was poised in a question, “So you don’t do it too Miss?”

This is the child’s reality. That acts of that nature are normal and can be done in a normal capacity, that is, anywhere, anytime, but with an appropriate target being the little boy. This is a clear case of child abuse; a premature exposure of activities by adults to the child who does not have the mental capacity to fathom the acts and the context in which these Events occur. What’s wrong with adults? The scripture says, Georgia, serif” />Pro 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

If that is how children are fed then what grisly monsters they will become when they attain the age of majority! If you feed them intentionally or recklessly with pornography or expose them to adult concepts then they stand the chance of growing up to be sexual delinquents and perverts; not having an appreciation for individuals, resulting in rape, sexual assault, homosexuality, men or women beaters and the list goes on.

This scripture tells us that children are gullible, innocent and fragile. If they are pruned and trained at that stage then they will grow into the form in which they have been pruned. The child should not have seen the porn video because the adult should not have been seeing it either. Is it that humanity has doubted their natural ability to be creative in that realm? Doubt to the extent that they become dependent on the ideas of others? Addiction? Does this call for a revision of sex education in institutions or of the adult’s expressive lifestyle?

Since children are what we are, meaning they base their behaviour on the obvious, let us prune our lifestyle. Go to church, read the word of God, pray fervently, abstain from crude lewd and nude language, care, aspire and love. The change always starts from oneself, so let us start it.

Say no to child abuse, and yes to a Christ like life!

Very good, Sher! A friend just told me that he caught 2 hight school boys doing the same thing in a bathroom on UWI campus, Mona!

Sorry sista princess, but mi kuden help bot laaf wen mi si di kwestian di likl pikni aks di tiicha! A so im (har?) biefies.

Only to say that I’m convinced lots of adults need sex education - dem sex dons! They can’t teach infants what they themselves do not know. I know parents who do not mind their little ones hiding in latrines, under beds, ina bush, etc., “dugu duguing.” One parent told me, “Dem mus tek dem praktis.” Even more shocking is the claim that that it helps little boys not to become “b***y-men” when they grow up (eskuuz mi langwij, sis)! I find this gobbledygook very distressing.

May the Lord raise up young godly Caribbean couples who would bear and rear godly and chaste West Indian children, and who would teach their offspring about the joy and the sacredness of sex…to the glory of Christ.

I’m yet to hear a West Indian preacher preach positively about sex FROM THE PULPIT! A wonda how many preachers/prophets/apostles/evangelists/bishops (and all the other names) are persuaded that their followers are sexual beings? Are our “spiritual leaders” sex dons? Are they preaching what Paul calls “the whole council of God,” that is, all of Scripture”? What is the level of their sexual maturity and their ability to instruct the flock in sexual matters in comparison to those who refuse to live in accordance to the Scriptures? I challenge us to challenge our “spiritual leaders.” Anyway, say more some other time….

    sola Scriptura!

Well, some leaders do mention the positive side of sex, but they may have been compelled to address the negative side to achieve a particular effect, being it premarital relations. But this article is not concerned merely about that. It is concerned more of the adult’s lifestyle that is being adopted by children.
