I felt Jamaican today so cooked to Jamaican food and logged on to youtube and watched not a few Jamaican comedies and Music… I watched this song twice and I really enjoyed it. It never fails to make one make one do a little shaking (mind, I don’t have one bone of rhythm within me. I’m as stiff as a well starched suit. My white friends believe all blacks are natural dancers, but I tell them the notion that all black people have got rhythm is entirely false!). Bot stif o no stif, wen di musik an di mesij ketch yu, yu no muuv anyhow!!!!
It’s been rather quiet on the website for the last few days…A wish sombadi suol wuda ketch a faya!!!
I think I did!!! Well, I’ve recognised that I’ve started to prefer my food less spicy or blander. My friends think it’s still very spicy though. I’m going brown so i had whole wheat spaghetti today…it’s very nice. Any way, back to Music everyone…!
ah doh believe they understand the gravity of that song. I remember I first heard it on a cruise. Could you imagine someone’s soul ketching fire on a boat??? Not safe…but “My God we love yuh!” God bless, that song has been a blessing. I saw some ole time christian soul set ablaze when that song play an u dun kno some ole ppl doh like our musical genres. Once again, all God’s blessings!!! Keep ketching the C’bean an the rest of d world ah fire 4 Jesus

I laughed my head off! What does it mean for the soul to “ketch a fire”? What’s the nature of the fire and what’s its effect?
