Whom to Believe- Part II

  • First let me begin by showing my appreciation for all the responses to my article- “Whom to Believe”- by saying thanks.
However, I think the contents of my article are being misinterpreted by most. This article was not written to justify atheism- well I never intended it to do that- because as the Bible says, only [...]

  • The ‘Dark Side’ of Gospel Reggae

  • I am not the type to wash dirty linen in public, and I do believe that there are some issues within Christendom that should remain with its people and sorted out between them. However this continuous debate has prolonged for numerous reasons and I am sure that it has spiked the interest of a number of persons both saved and unsaved. Because of the heightened interest we have to now contend with the views of those that are not saved and how this music / lifestyle impacts.

    What “Dark Side”?

The question is, what about the dark side of Gospel Reggae? Dark side? Yeah, dark side? I know that light and darkness cannot mix, but what about the darkness that Gospel Reggae attracts? Yeah. The things that we are not pleased with, the things that are ambiguous, behaviours that portray the view that Christians are compromising with this music and lifestyle, what about those things?

  • Kevin Downswell
    Kevin Downswell

Meet Kevin Downswell. I was raised on Maxfield Avenue, Waterhouse and Central Village. I’ve been at the worst but here is God taking the worst and exalting it, taking the humble and exalting it. My message is my life, you can never be too low for God, you can be never too low for God! You can never be too poor for God and you can never do too much that God can stop loving you.
Kevin has been in gospel music for about 10 to 13 years and has been on fire for the Lord singing and ministering all over the world. He is well know for hit songs like Stand & Evil doers.

  • The Bible in one year?

  • For as long as I have know myself there have always been different suggested techniques for reading the Bible in one year. Most of the popular techniques have a reading for each day, week or month. Some suggest reading a part in the morning and a part in the afternoon, and some suggest listening to it. YES! Listening has become a very popular way of completing the bible within a year.

  • Boopsy

  • Do u ever think we boops out God?
    Now really, do you?
I mean we at tymz only go to Him on request,
Seeking His hands and not His face.
    Why do we do that?
    Just think for a while,
How would u feel if someone u really cared about
Only sought u upon their lack
    And nothing else?
Not even coming back to [...]
